(RE)GENERATE - STANDARD CONTEST RULES 2020

These rules are the standard terms and conditions applicable to the contests and giveaways administered by Synergy Foundation through Project Zero. The contests are intended to be conducted in the province of British Columbia only and shall be construed and evaluated according to applicable Canadian law. Void in whole or in part where prohibited by law. Entry into the contests constitutes acceptance of these contest rules. 

 

1. ELIGIBILITY

 

The Contest is open to all legal residents of Vancouver Island in the province of British Columbia. In certain cases, minors under the age of majority will be permitted to enter the Contest and be eligible to win the prize. In no case, however will a minor be declared a winner without the prior consent and release of liability of the minor’s parent or legal guardian. 

 

2. TIMING

The Contest will open on February 18, 2020 at 8:00AM and will remain open until March 29, 2020 at 11:59PM.

 

3. HOW TO ENTER AND WINNER SELECTION

Entries will be accepted through the survey form on the Project Zero website, found at www.project-zero.ca/regeneratecontest. No purchase necessary. Multiple entries from one device/one individual will be accepted. 

 

Winners will be selected by a panel of judges, recruited by the “Hosts” (Project Zero and Surfrider Pacific Rim), based on the ideas’ originality, feasibility and impact. Ten (10) winners will be selected. If two or more entries submitted from different individuals contain the same winning idea, the winner will be selected from that group at random.

 

4. WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT

Winners will be contacted directly using the contact information provided during their entry submission. The winners will be contacted the week after the Contest closes. Throughout the month of April, winners and their ideas will be announced to the public through the Hosts’ social media accounts and websites. Unless individuals opt into receiving further information from Project Zero, contact upon winning is the sole use of this contact information.

 

5. ODDS OF WINNING

The odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.

 

6. APPROXIMATE VALUE OF PRIZES

The retail value of the prizes will be determined as the prizes are collected.

 

7. RELEASE OF PRIVACY RIGHTS/COPYRIGHT

By entering the Contest, individuals consent to the distribution of their idea and name to the general public as part of the Hosts’ announcement of winners. Individuals also consent to the use of their submitted ideas in any way the Hosts’ desire.
